Additional Comments: Alongside her musical studies, Nina gained knowledge of music theory through her father, who was also a musician. He worked in USOs and was director of the Coast Guard Band during the war years. Nina's love of music in the classical sense inspired her to perform and teach, so she can pass on her knowledge to others, especially adults. Her hobbies include needlework, gourmet cooking, bird watching, and fishing. She has been happily married for 44 years, has 2 children and 9 grandchildren.
