Musical Background: Budge Cutrera began playing drums at the age of 3. He was taught by his father, a professional drummer who played with The Twisters in the 60's and the stage band for American Bandstand. Budge started playing professionally at the age of 15 in south Louisiana with Rod Bernard, who became famous for his Cajun and Zydeco style music. Budge studied under Hal Guilder and Harry Leonard during high school. He played with the band Quest in the early 80's and started teaching drums at the age of 17. He continues to enjoy teaching and sharing his knowledge and experience with students.
